A fantastic sequel, just as gripping as it's predecessor. There are more surprises, more twists, more heart-wrenching turns of fate. The same wonderful characters, but with new ones too of course, and some interesting minor characters from the first book are really developed here.
If you start this trilogy you won't be satisfied until you've read them all - while this book does come to an appropriate conclusion, there are many threads left hanging, ready to be taken up and expertly knitted into the third and final novel, due out on the 4th of December. Now I understand why these are being published in such quick succession - anything else would be cruel.
