I didn't read this in one sitting as I had the last two novels, but I'm not sure whether that's because I didn't want the trilogy to end, or because the third in the series isn't as compulsive. Fire Study certainly offers more resolution than the first two novels. Anyone who has read this far wants to know what happens to Yelena of course, and will be relieved to know that there's another trilogy to come (following Opal's adventures).
